The African Programme on Rethinking Development Economics (APORDE) is a two-week, high-level training programme in development economics, public policymaking, and development strategies aimed at building capacity in the South, particularly in Africa.

The Rationale

APORDE was founded on the need to broaden perspectives on development thinking and policymaking.



APORDE 2016 will feature leading international and African economists to lead discussions and share their views on economic development and industrialisation issues.
